There are several funding opportunities offered by the council and that we accept.
Two Year Funding – this needs to be applied for by parents either via the Wiltshire Council website or Childcare Choices website. If successful will provide up to 15 hours per week, starting the term after the child’s second birthday.
Working Parents Two Year Funding – applied for by parents via the Wiltshire Council website or the Childcare Choices website. If successful this will provide up to 30 hours per week, starting the term after the child’s second birthday.
Three and Four year old grant entitlement- all children are entitled to this funding and is organised by the preschool setting. Funding is for up to 15 hours per week, awarded the term after the child’s third birthday.
30 hour Working Parents funding for 3 and 4 year old children – applied for by parents via the Wiltshire Council website or Childcare Choices website. If successfully will provide up to 30 hours per week.
Funding can be split between more than one setting and are given in three funding blocks – September to December, January to March and April to July. NB Moonbeams Preschool is open for 19.5 hours per week.
Funding can be used to cover sessions and lunch clubs as required. You can take all mornings for example, add lunch clubs, or lunch club then the afternoon or all days within you grant entitlement.
You do not have to use all the entitlement if you prefer not too, choose to suit your child’s requirements.
The sessions you choose can only be changed after each funding block if you wish to do so.
If you require more hours than your grant entitlement allows, or you are not eligible for funding, Moonbeams will invoice you at our current hourly/age appropriate rate.
Moonbeams does not charge for snacks
Moonbeams does not charge for craft/activity items.
Moonbeams does not charge for non food consumables.
Any trips with Moonbeams Preschool will be advised and charged in addition to funding or invoiced hourly charges.
