Welcome to Moonbeams Preschool

Our Aims Our overall aims at Moonbeams Preschool are to:

  • Enhance the development and education of children under the statutory school age, in a parent involving, community, Committee based group.

  • Allow your child to develop many social, physical, emotional and intellectual skills whilst preparing for school and their futures.

  • Provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment, which ensures a balance between free play and structured play

  • Work within a framework, which ensures equality for all children and families. Emphasis is placed on listening to and talking with the children and encouraging co-operation and respect for the other children, parents and staff.

  • Use the support of a Personal Key Worker. All the children have a key worker assigned to interact with and to plan and record, in their Keyworker Folders, individual progress and development.

  • Allow you and your family the opportunities to be directly involved in the activities of the group and in the progress of your own child.

  • To promote specialist learning with our SENCo.

As a Preschool we are regularly inspected by specialist inspectors, registered by OFSTED. Our latest OFSTED report is available at the Pre-School or via the link on this site, should you wish to read it in detail.

At all times the Child’s individual needs are paramount.  We strive to provide an environment in which the children feel safe, secure and cared for both physically and emotionally.
